Good Haiki, gets to the point, smile as you live life and prayers for Ed to get better and come back on the den to write his stuff, which is very entertaining.

Oh My Gawd...this is awful! The part about Ed!! There are so many ailments that affect us through life this is awful, I hope he will recover! Your Haiku is piercing actually after I read about Ed M. Hits home is what I mean with the fragility of life & all it's absurdities....
