I loved this writing. Today, as I look at the comedy, I so often enjoy, no one replaces Bernie Mac. Through his comedy he shared family responsibility, values, strengths and weaknesses. They don't make comics like him any more.

I have always loved Bernie Mac. I loved him before his show began. He was funny, hilarious and all around powerful man, to be 50 and gone, to leave so many touched by his witty wisdom. I've have been saying how I wanted to get a Boston Terrier and name him Bernie....now it's almost destined for me to do so. Bernie was a good man....I will highly miss him.

You are such a loving spirit... and it's sweet that you are grieving them...altho they touched you in a non-family way... We tend to allow people into our hearts and homes through television and movies and they become family ot us...so familiar, and when they have hard times, or they are taken from us...we do feel their loss deeply. I didn't know either but I too enjoyed their works.. A very close friend of mine knew Isaac very well personally...and he showed me many photos of them together...FISHING...and he said that he had suffered a stroke a couple yrs ago and altho he struggled to talk...he still performed! which I thought was amazing! I felt for my friend today too because he lost a close friend...one whom he had worked with...had recorded him many times, and worked with him mixing his music,and mainly...just being good friends...fishing buddies... It is a small world isn't it.. You know I too lost two close friends this week and both funerals were Saturday, and one today...neither was I able to attend...but my heart was there for both.. Take care my friend... you are a beautiful spirit.. lindalaw |
