I'm so very sorry for your loss, Susan. We have a shi-tsu, whom we love dearly, and know well how hard it would be if we lost him... as it has always been when other loved canine friends have left us.

Nothing can compare the pain of a long life pet's demise.
People can say, "well, it was just a..." no, it wasn't just, it had our love as we had the companionship and unwavering loyalty.
It wasn't just "it"
