I like your thinking Keith. But I think the Chinese Army and Indian Railways are going to be covered in Obama's Health Care Plan too.
Very well said, and so concisely! In the UK, the National Health Service comprises the world's 3rd largest employer - surpassed only by the Chinese Army and Indian Railways.
We need a much more American type individualism in the world, not collectivisim, nationalism or racism.
However, I do understand Obama's intention to extend healthcare - just b e careful how he does it!
What about this agenda...
1. Return to the Gold standard and stop government borrowing and printing money.
2. Stop supporting people who have children they can't support themselves.
3. Open up education for everyone who can benefit - for free.
4. Reduce government by 90%
5. Eliminate all taxes except one single consumption tax.
6. Reduce arms and defense expenditure to a level needed to ensure solid defense - no more.
7. Abandon farm subsidies
8. Stop exporting democracy - at least stop using war as a means of export.
9. Divert monies saved to a massive space program and reignite the dreams of humanity.
Phew! Think you could do all that?
Jay, I think the "people" we have in washington today are looking more towards Cuba for their solutions.
