Indeed... We are seeing of the wonderful results of the great efforts being put forth by Washington. So far the beaches seem safe... I have't seem any of those BP/Obama balls washing up on the beaches of Long Island NY at all...at least not yet.

As of May:
1)There are more than 20,000 people working around the clock to contain and clean up this spill.
2)President Obama authorized 17,500 National Guard troops to participate in the response.
3)More than 1,900 vessels are aiding in the containment and cleanup effort. 4)Hundreds of top scientists and engineers from around the world have been employed to find a solution.
5)After an emergency safety review, new, aggressive operating standards for offshore drilling are being put into place.
6)President Obama appointed a bipartisan commission to look into the causes of this spill. If laws are inadequate, they will be changed. If oversight was lacking, it will be strengthened. And if laws were broken, those responsible will be brought to justice.
These are just a few of the actions taken by the Obama administration. Shame on you for demeaning this disaster with your attempts to make it into something political. You probably still support sarah's sheeple who bleat "drill baby, drill!"
