The ancients believing the world was flat is a myth. The size and vastness of the earth's oceans and earth's circumference was in question and was a controversial subject, in which religion, politics, adverturers, explorers, etc, all were involved. I can't seem to reconcile that the "ancients" were as ignorant as the propagandists would have us believe. |
