I don't have a bit of sympathy for Sarah Palin. She is one of those "right-wing conservative christian" types who teaches abstinence and then gets so busy that she overlooks her own child. It's not the fact that the child got pregnant, it's the fact that the mother has the nerve enough to criticize other people for "not looking after their kids." It's downright hypocritical, to say the least. I guess she now knows what it's like for the people she criticizes, and who, quite frankly, don't typically have a husband, an older son, and parents and in-laws to help look after them when they have to work. Now, this shotgun wedding? Did baby daddy even say he wanted to marry her, or is this being forced on them? AND she's got a five month old baby at home with DS? Maybe she needs to take some time out from being governor to spend with her family, she obviously doesn't have her personal life under control -- at all. Then, there's the brother in law she is accused of using her powers as gvernor to get fired over personal matters. I think she's got too many issues at home to handle this nation's affairs and also end up being the president if something happens to the gray old dude. A woman? Yes. An older and more experienced woman, indeed. THIS woman? No way.

All of this is so sad and potentially devastating for Palin's daughter. So far, I've liked Palin from what I've seen -even though her policies are total anathema to me. And I agree with Obama - keep personal family matters out of this. |
