Having traveled for years and losing lugage only once, I love this story. Arriving one year from Idaho to Rochester, NY near Christmas, plane arriving in Chicago was late. Flight to Rochester was actually held for 6 of us! (won't see that these days). Arriving to Rochester International Airport (not international at that time)late I waited and waited for my bag and dog. No bag, but one very LARGE dog crate. My mother looked at me and said "That's not YOUR DOG...IS IT". It wasn't mine, but the very last item to come off the plane was a dog crate with a dog about half the size ot the other. Mom was happy, I had no lugage and we had a Merry Christmas.
