It seems funny now that a lot of authors ae going the route of self publishing!
I agree Debbie, it is shameful that some people possess such arrogance to other aspiring authors. Publish On demand is such a wonderful avenue to reach the desires to publish a book of any sort.
We all are at different levels in our skill and craft and we really need to support each other rather than ridicule another's choices. I love POD publoishing, as you know I am with createspace and I am so happy with their networking and marketing features with amazon & numerous other cyber book shelves. I have personally chosen too not to use any vanity fair style publishing house which keeps so much of the author royalty it makes the authors book nearly unsellable & they charge the author to publish hundreds or thousands of dollars for a publishing package? This author you speak of very well may be with a vanity press. I am curious who it is, and who they are with. I love createspace for the freedom to market and the author royalty is left for the author. Its great to know you are here Debbie, I hope you reopen your den!!
