Noon in the mountains you said, try it in Autralia's Victoria Range in summer and your Muse will never bother you to write about "noon in the mountains" there were no copperheads snakes but mean scorpions that had a penchant to take your boots for a sleep-inn!

It sounds like a very productive day and God bless you for thinking of the less fortunate. I wish I could have been there to go through the "junk" pile with you. I do love my old treasures! By the way, the sounds of your lunch made my mouth water :-)
