If I am not wrong Dennis gets left overs from a vegetarian? no wonder his red meat eating pals at work think he is "spoiled" ha ha ha ha

My mom used to can green beans with vinegar in quart Mason jars. For a few years we were a "brood". I loved the taste that remained after the rinse off. The beans still had a slight to medium vinegar taste. Good luck.

Good luck with the kitchen! I long to do ours, but my husband can't stand to think of the upset to routines it would cause.

Take time this summer for yourself before beginning to let the school year infringe again. . . teaching is all-consuming, isn't it? Eileen
