Your mountains in summer rain or no rain seems suitable for a long hike and a few words in private with the Big Chief upthere by the campfire....

No rain here, just hot and sunny. Typically Texas summertime heat. UCH!! How I HATE it!!

Not rainy here but sunny 90 degrees, hot, humid just the way I like it. Summer can stay around for me forever.
All you people cooking up a storm, and me eating mince bologna and cheese sandwiches and snacking on cream cheese key lime ball with graham crackers today. Going to bingo tonight. Must tell you my trip to mountains yesterday to pick up granddaughter Katlyn from church camp yielded me a glance of a bluebird feeding her babies on nest up on ceiling of porch at camp. Beautiful sight never got so near a blue bird before. Don't hardly ever see blue birds, just robins, so was a real delight and The Bluebird of happiness was with me yesterday. Glad for your descriptive write, and Joyce's fresh cooked dinner saids good too. Why cook when alone? I do sometimes though. Families need nourishing soul foods though.

Very cold ,dark and wet here!!
I cooked too....pork roast,baked patato,pumkin,rice and chocolate pudding for dessert!!
