Glad that you have a new little companion, Joyce; and glad you had a relaxing Labor Day! Am praying hard for those affected by Gustav; I can't even begin to imagine the fear they must be feeling (nor do I want to try!)! I am sure I'll run into an evacuee or two; did last time with Katrina; my heart went out to them! Still think about them from time to time; wonder how they are doing.

And you have made me hungry with the descriptions of the roast. When's dinner, Mama? I'm on my way! LOL YUMMO!! LOLOLOL

Glad your day is going so good. Mine is sort of lonely without a gathering with the family. We don't have them on Labor Day no more it seems everyone goes there own way. I had a t-bone steak for lunch and ate alone. So depressing sometimes my life is.
You could name your new terrier Joy, that is what mine was who died a day before my birthday Oct 23, 2006. She was my pride and Joy and a cocker spaniel. Loved her so much and still miss her. Good luck with whatever you name her and hope she does fine with you too.
