A wonderful blog as usual, full of wisdom from the Kentucky Mountains. A new puppy...sounds like you will be going for lots of walks. LOLOL! I didn't know you celebrated Thanksgiving at the same time as your Canadian friends. Something new I learned today!

You new puppy Tiny seems to have adjusted very well to you. I wish I had a dog, but my Joy died a day before my birthday in 2006. It was sad and I have no place for her in this apt. or another dog. So just enjoy other dogs when I go somewhere. I am a dog and cat lover. Nice write you posted for us to read. Weekends go fast I know and before you know it you are back with the kids in your class at school working very hard, I know.
Save me the drumstick!! And a piece of pumpkin pie, y'hear??

Thank you for sharing with us Joyce as I am here preparing a feast of Turky, Ham and all the trimmings for my family, sure would love to be in the country. Today we are celebrating our Thanksgiving here in Canada and we do have so much to be thankful for. Have a wonderful day Joyce.

If you serve a white meat turkey between thwo slices of rye buttered with majones and a mug of coffee with cream no sugar in your veranda, we could discuss the merits of those mountains in Autumn. |
