Yikes! The swine flu is bad here, too. I pray I don't get it; already got my flu shot, as did my twin. (Regular flu shot; we will have to see if we can get the H1N1 vaccine as well; double protection!!) Shot didn't bother me at all, but Karla felt a little chilled the next day. She couldn't get warm.
Have had some fatalities here in the DFW metroplex, mostly teens or kids. Sad. I will have to keep their families in prayer as they grieve the loss of their loved ones. It just doesn't make sense when a child dies; it goes against the laws of nature, dosen't it? Same as when a child is left severely or permanently disabled by birth or later in life....
I am doing okay; not great, but hanging in there. Hard to do anything when we don't have the finances; two people living on less than $260 a month just doesn't go very far after bills. At least we have food stamps; that is a huge blessing right there! We have plenty of food, just not much else. Just keep us both in your prayers; Karla and I have both been depressed and frustrated about life. Would greatly appreciate it!
Love your descriptive blog; it makes me wish I were there with y'all instead of here in Texas; not very happy here. I don't like Texas; I miss the fall colors, the snow, the seasons, BASEMENTS (especially during severe weather, when hail/tornadoes are forecast--and NO beepin' shelters to go to!!)!!
