I was a union man for over thirty years, walked or stood on picket lines in rain, sun and snow. I truly believe that unions did a lot for the working man but...
sadly I think the unions became on the top levels too greedy and self serving and forgot the reason why they were there. The last strike I was on actually lost us money in salaries and the union instead of helping members actually raised our dues a week after we went back to work.
