1781 is the year my relative, Senator Waitman Thomas Willey's father moved from Sussex County Delaware to Monongahela County Virginia. In 1786 there was an Indian massacre very near their Buffalo Creek cabin and several white settlers were killed. In 1811 Waitman would be born there in a cabin in Buffalo Creek. I just returned from a visit to that area in June and early this month. I love our nation's early history Karen. I bid you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael
