Reading a book now about legends of US history, one is about the US Seal and why there are thirteen arrows in the eagle's claws...about how an indian chief had came with fourteen arrows, snapped one over his knee to show how easily a lone state could be brokien and then challenged president to try and break all thirteen at once. Not sure how much truth to it by a great analogy for sure. |
