I love this! Having grown up in a village where nearly everyone worked at a local HUGE factory. I think back and I have lived near a chemical waste dump that used to glow different colors depending what was dumped into it. Chromium Cloride's aroma filled the air. Depending upon which way the wind was blowing would determine when clothes could be hung out to dry so they wouldn't turn bright yellow. Thank goodness mankind advanced to invoke the EPA!!!! Great write! I can't say enough!!

Wow! This is insightful for those of us who have lived our lives in mountains and beaches! Even if we aren’t hikers or outdoorsy in many ways, we may still be environmentalists who never would have understood this “zombie phenomenon!” |
