Thank you for your comments, Cryssa and Linda. I do just really love it whenI find out other people have enjoyed my work, so kudos back to you, Cryssa. Linda, I'm not so sure you should give those jackets up. They sound like they could support the writing for several of us. Books aren't always a lucrative business......Jerry

You are fortunate to have sold so many books already...from my lips to Gods ears!! I agree with you however...who knows? However...when you find someone who did purchase and enjoyed your book it is so wonderful! Years ago I designed denim jackets and handpainted them each as an individual...signed my name on the bottom of the jacket... I was lucky enough to get Harrah's Gift Shops (casino & hotels) to sell them for me, ....I sold them to Harrah's for $80 each, and they sold them to the public for $499....go figure!!!) anyway..one day I was at the airport in Seattle and saw one of my jackets on a lady...stopped her and asked where she got it...Hawaii...she said !!!!! Then she said, "these are impossible to find these days and I know so many friends who would love to have one...but no one knows who the designer/artist is." I choked up and told her I was the artist and she asked me for my signature, and card, and said she would order and get me orders.... (I did sell about 6 more jackets thru this lady)...but just seeing my jacket thousands of miles from where I lived was so exciting and then to have her tell me what she did!!!! I later found out that a japanese business owner had purchased 12 of my jackets and took to Japan...then later jackets similar to mine were the big rage!!!! Thousands of dollars EACH.... wow... marketing...and money to establish your business...and the same goes for our books.... good point of view from you... hugs, lindalaw
