"Tired of telephone calls"

George, I have been where you are and know first hand that it is no picnick. There are three things I would do;
1. Screen all calls, everytime the phone rings and if you recognize their number, don't answer.
2. If you do speak with them, simply tell them to call the debt service you are using, then hang up.
3. Don't sweat the small stuff, as grueling as this is, it shall pass. Stay focused and keep smiling.

It's their own fault, for in many instances they are forcing their cards on people, even the family dogs.
They were still trying to collect every month from my father-in-law even after his death. We repeated told them my father-in-law was dead, and the debt will be settled just like any other debts he still has to pay, but they kept calling calling. They got some idiots working on the phone. Well, the debt was finally paid by the estate.
