Poets bleed words onto paper. Their DNA is in every phrase, every syllable. That is what makes them immortal.

Poets are like a fossilized forest that not even the most acrid critic can set afire and destroy because it doesn't complay with his idea of how a literary landscape should be, a forest that will be there long after the crotics locust has ceased to exist.
