Probably I have a lot of different personalities hiding around, some can be talk about and some will keep hiding if they know what are good for them.
Inevitably, this quote brings to my mind one of the greatest poets of the Portuguese language (who, incidentally, also wrote in English), Fernando Pessoa. This extraordinary poet had nothing less than 64 heteronyms, of which, however, those who became better known were Álvaro de Campos, Ricardo Reis, and Alberto Caeiro - all brilliant poets in "their" own right, but totally different, in styles and "personalities", not only among "themselves" but also from Pessoa. Some of his critics and analysts of his work say that Pessoa's need to create was such that it couldn't be consummated through his own creative voice and perspective alone, and thus it "unfolded" him into a myriad of distinctive "creative characters" with a life and a voice of their own. I suppose that, at perhaps not such an intricate level, many poets experience this need - in their need to create - of "birthing" (and then letting them follow their own way) other voices, besides their own; voices which will complete the ever incomplete consummation of the poet's expression, of the rich and complex "universe" composed of the many "worlds" within the creative mind. A fabulous theme, my dear friend, about which I could go on for hours... and through many voices. (Remember "my" Otsana?). Thank you for this treat!

A great quote, and you made such a wonderful, insightful review on this. I know I have no certain style, I simply write what I feel at that moment. We writers can do this, as you stated, because we write from all our senses. Tank you, I really enjoy your intriguing blogs!
