Fantastic, super write!!! Bravo, they way! I must say, shamefully, that if I had 400 million dollars, I probably wouldn't give a rat's ass about the poor and needy either. Or would I? Anyway, reality is I don't have any 400 million. Nor 4 million for that matter!!

You have your hand on the pulse of those who are middle americans...working our tails off and continuously having the refuse shoveled on our backs... waay to go La Belle - like reading these and this one is elegant! It's hard to believe they could possibly win - but i've felt that a few times before...-i'm arranging a drink shiver or wiggle game evening for election night on TV, just to get through it, each time we hear certain phrases, especially, 'It's really too close to call' *drink*...and etc *cheers* for the reads :o) write on!

Ah, the good old days... Thanks for having the courage to write this, Belle. I've been blogging about the evils of Bush/Cheney et. al. for years. I wrote John McCain an email in 2001 asking him what had happened to his courage. He's sold his soul to the neo-cons for some reason. I don't know what they have on him but once you sell THAT, you can't get it back.

Very powerful write...and so true. We as Americans must really dig deeper into ourselves than we ever have done before. This may be the election of all elections and an extreme power is given to all of us to go to the voting booths and choose the future of this country. One that has healing from the past.
