Wow, YOU raise many ?'s and ideas here! I totally agree with you! and It will be sometime before a Miracle shines through, what should have been uncovered YEARS ago! It's like a snowball effect! SAD! and WE have to watch it roll over many!

As a Canadian, we tend to watch and wait when it comes to American politics but Obama even in Canuck land was applauded as the new hope for the people. I think it was mostly the historical breakthrough of the first African American being in the white house. Now that being said I think he will have a hard road ahead of him and his politics will decide his place in history not his colour. No president and I repeat no president was ever loved by all of the people all of the time. Even John Kennedy and I say this with rspect had his fair share of stupid mistakes and made many people angry and disiilusioned but he was still considered a hero when he was assassinated. I believe Obamma as the elected President should be supported and given a chance and if you don't agree with his policies...ensure you support someone in the next election you like better. I hear people say that all politicians are crooked but the alternative to democracy is dictatorship...

Responded to the article with the same name, hopefully this copy and paste thing will work. This is what I said.

A loaded gun, La Belle, that raises more questions and makes us look closer at government as a whole - the problems with Mr. Obama is not his color (never has been), it's his beliefs. If the children are our future, as he said in his Inauguration speech, why did he then sign bills allowing for abortion? Killing our unborn is killing our future. I'm sorry, that's how I feel. Vacationing in million dollar homes while Veterans (and others) are homeless, jobless, going hungry, turns my stomach. The media sure treats him like a messiah and America, picked off at Bush, wanted change. Well, they got it all right. Not a fan of Mr. Obama, especially being a Veteran. I am praying for him and the leaders, but are they praying for us as they take care of the rest of the world, failing to see what's happening in their own backyard?

And Mr. Ed is right: this didn't happen overnight. It's been going on for YEARS. No wonder I don't trust politicians ... they wouldn't know truth if it came and bit them in the butt. Shame. What's good for the goose SHOULD be good enough for the gander!!!!

I couldn't agree with you more, La Belle. And where was all this indignation over the course of the last eight abysmal years in this country?

As you point out, we didn't get in this hideous mess overnight; it was caused by the prior administration; and it may take several years to get out of.
