Absolutely, Belle. I didn't put out a poem or anything else today. I hate it when I am "required" to do things. I support the veterans one hundred percent as anybody who knows me understands.

Being the wife of a Veteran it is also important that we not only remember the service of your husband but as well your own sacrifices.

This is a subject that must be remembered daily, not just yearly. Afterall, they are fighting for our Freedoms each and every day, if it were merely a yearly undertaking then I'm afraid it would be a task lost.

No arguments from this daughter, sister, niece, cousin of Veterans and a USAF Veteran, myself: Georg Mateos said it best on my last blog: it would be too easy to forget. We can't let that happen. I won't let that happen. EVERY day is Veteran's and Memorial Day to me. Every day soldiers sacrifice and die for our freedoms. The war doesn't stop if we forget ...
