The Homeland Security Dept never was setup correctly. We needed to use the example of the FBI during WW2, it investigated NAZI terrorist. This Homeland Security Dept today seems to spend all it's time on AMERICANs rather then International Terrorist. This war has been confused and messed up since the beginning.

Much pain could have been avoided, perhaps, if this soldier/doctor had been discharged from service when it was discovered he was communicating with terrorists or terrorist sympathisers via email. Yes, the Prez needs to bring our troops home. Let's spend some of that war money on beefing up security here at home! It's a lot of $!!

There are so so many more Hasans out there. They are here by the numbers and just waiting for the time.
Can we stop them? It's going to be hard to do when we don't have a clue where they are, and even if we did, would we? Nobody wants to step on toes and be finger pointed at, by being considered racist. That doesn't look good when they are running for office you know?
No I don't know what we are going to do but I know what is going to happen if we don't do something and do it quick.

America was created from a pool of immigrants and it prospered because everybody integrated and had a same goal, to provide for their families.
Many of todays immigrants don't want to integrate and come here with a preconception that America owes them everything.
Todays integration gives us Ft. Hood, 9/11, WW Trade...should I say more?

Oh Belle, there is so much more that it is becoming ridiculous. If that was all it was we could laugh at it, but when blood is spilled and the nation is under attack from within, and this man is not alone, there are many more out there and some of them are in our congress and places even higher. America had better wake up before it is too late.

Again, no arguments from me, La Belle: you'd expect an attack on our own on foreign soil, but not here, at home, by one of own 'own'?!? Makes no sense. And your last sentance is spot on: have enough problems in our own backyard without wooing China and Iran and those who have been proven to hate us. :(
