Great write. People must realize that a little basket of brownies, made & given out of love, for instance, can be just as wonderful a gift as an iPod! Plus, brownies are delicious most people would agree. :)

This Christmas has been a horrible one for me (no money to buy a gift for my twin sister!!). I just hope people get back to the REAL Reason for the Season: the Birth of a Saviour named Jesus Christ!! Or help those who truly need the help, NOT just the children!! There are plenty of ADULTS here in AMERICA who can use the help as well (the elderly, the disabled, our VETERANS, to name a few!).

Ab-so-lutely!!! Christmas has been one of the worst holidays in my opinion for many years. You Christmas sounds to me like a real one, and I hope it will be wonderful . . .

All my life I have disliked that pressure cooker about buying presents that, most of them, will be changed afterwards no matter how agonizing it was to decide which want to buy and to give.
