I hope I'm right calling you Susan.
I rarely get to blogs here because I really don't like blogs very much. But I'm going to check out a couple of your older ones because I admire your writing and insight.
It looks like your space is being invaded by painful intruders. I have always been kind of a loner and find that sometimes, others can make my life miserable. I used to go out to a nearby state park and commune with animals. Now, I find that it is painful to sit and write for more than an hour, so why change venues and run around the house in my wheelchair, sometimes just staring out the window at the various critters that inhabit the backyard.
You're right. Sometimes we have no choice but to choose the best choice. I believe it was Lincoln that said. "… You can't please all the people all of the time."
