Ron, that 'Rise of the Proletariat' experiment by Lenin and Stalin in Russia didn't turn out too well did it? Millions of good people were slaughtered or exiled to Siberia, while they still professed that 'Uncle Joe' loved them. There is no way that 'all the people' can be in charge. Someone has to be the leader. Our great nation has designed the best system, although not perfect, to do it.

Have you read Orwell's book 1984? It's a survey of 'Proletarianism' that Orwell called 'Proles.' It seems your suggestions have already been tried too many times and they always result in murder, mayhem, and total disaster for a nation.

Have a great day anyway, and it's great to hear from you again. If Hillary wins make sure you have a good cave to hide in.

Ron I am a progressive thinker but I am not a socialist. I want to progress beyond the ever increasing control of the federal government over every aspect of citizens' lives. I want to progress past the social and economic burdens illegal immigration is causing. To progress beyond political correctness to common sense and equal rights for all of us. Progress beyond a welfare society to a philosophy of hard work, fair pay and the ability to prosper in our democracy founded on capitalism. Yes the world is changing but our constitution remains the same, for now.

While I agree that neither candidate is up to the task of representing the American people, these are the candidates that the two powerful political parties have chosen and are now stuck with.

I could come up with just as long a list, in many ways more recent, for Donald Trump's misgivings, including his timely reversal of his longtime claim that President Obama wasn't born in the country and his use of landlord friendly tax laws to avoid paying federal taxes.

So, we are faced with a lesser of two evils. As an athlete, I have been in many locker rooms and never heard any talk like that. Where I did hear that talk was in the office of a mild-mannered police investigator at our university where he bragged about his encounters with women and his disgusting comment about wanting to have sex with an Asian woman (like I had?). I wrote about his downfall in my article last year here, Good Cop - Bad Cop.

While I thought you were a progressive thinker, you, like Will Clark, seem to be grasping onto outdated, conservative ideology in the face of a rapidly changing world.

I do not want the United States run by old ideas, big money, big political parties, the military or the church. I want the country run by all of its citizens, not just the longtime privileged few. Let us hope that the Clintons are the last dynasty running this country.
