my sentiments for telephones manned by automatons are in expletives you would not want to hear -- it is often bad enough when attempting to deal with a live person -- but automated answering systems with more questions and directions than answers leave me livid -- and the government,well that is entirely another issue unto itself -- peace and love my dear friend, Karla --- Jon Michael

If "We the people..." are the government, why can't WE do something about machines answering phones? Kick out of office any elected official who stands in the way of our getting govt. and corporate phones answered by humans again!

KARLA - ALL HAIL THE GUVMINT RAT-BASTARDS!

I UNDERSTAND - my daughter, w/BIPOLAR - months ago, we went & applied for State Assistance - did all the waiting, the orientation class (SICK JOKE) - the forms, etc. she finally was approved - got TEMPORARY - food stamps, pittance hand-out, and cute lil plastic card.

When 3 months passed - OOPS! got to re-apply, going thru same routine of BULL-SHIT all over again! 'THEY' cannot simply call up the existing computer record and type - RENEW for 3 more months. CAN'T DO IT - SYSTEM DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY!

OH - YEAH - and even tho she has an ASSIGNED 'REPRESENTATIVE' - when you call her, she can do NOTHING!

I WISH EVERY DAMNED GUVMINT EMPLOYEE WOULD LOSE THEIR JOBS - THEN, GO THRU THEIR OWN 'SYSTEM'.

Like I said - RAT-BASTARDS ALL!

Unfortunate for many millions of people who are poor in your Country is the fact that the poor are viewed as undeserving. Why?? It is because of the mindset of the (American Dream) in which the strongest, and most well connected get to take the lion's share of the resources. In addition to that is the belief that God blesses those who have the most because they are the best sort of people. Sad, sad, sad, and it doesn't put food on your table. They haven't read Job. The most vilified inventions of them all, the Automatic Answer Machine. It helps them to ignore you 100% otherwise they would need to work for their money.
