WHAT PURPOSE WILL THIS SERVE TO WIN A WAR?
A coward would be a coward no matter the side he/she takes and afterwards no side wants anything to do with a turncoat.I remember wars of the past where turncoats were shot...or hung. I guess a coward lives for the moment and for my moment I say Hangem high!

Good article, Karla. That’s what I would have done… if my only experience in life was being a Chicago community activist and hanging out in the senate for a few months. Bribes work with this government, why not the Taliban? Besides it’s only tax money and once we get rid of everybody’s health care insurance we’ll have tons and tons of that… Say, maybe we should include some nuclear weapons with the bride. I heard they’re looking for some of those. Wait a second, Here’s an even better idea that could mean another Nobel Peace Prize. How about if America disarms by giving all of it’s nuclear weapons and military equipment to the Taliban?. Somebody call MSNBC and see if it flies! I'm afraid our country really needs to have an real American President, that loves and respects this country and The American people. This just ain’t working.

the move to make America a European style, Socialist State, began on November 5th, 2008. So I am certain this move to appease those that despise America will work? They will use it as propoganda and to buy more AK-47's and ammunition from Russia and China to kill more Americans. This is block style management of a crisis. Pay the enemy off.

I hadn't seen or read any news about this. It's about the worst policy anyone could come up with and it makes NO sense at all to me. Paying the enemy will never make him a friend, just an enemy disguised as a friend who's getting rich on your stupidity!

The sadness of this is that some people will actually believe that it makes some kind of rational sense. I am not a great fan of war or fighting but I think once the battle is entered and the lines are drawn...stand tall wave a big gun and move forward. Paying the enemy is like giving a gun with live ammo to a child...

I really believe that the vast majority of Americans can not even begin to guess what the pretender has in mind and I think, other than those dunces that believe Obama can do no wrong, I truly think that he'll do anything to reduce America to a third world country.

Karla, thank you for sharing this. I didn't see the news this morning, and am glad to see your blog report. I truly think that Obama is trying to destory America; first, by bankrupting our national treasury, by undermining the consitution, by treating terrorist as people with the same constitutional rights a free Americans, and by making deals such as you've discussed in your blog. I think he is a dangerous man to our American way of life and democracy.
