I can understand your fear here Karla. It will be the fattened, bloated, and glutenous bureaucracy which will bring your nation down.

the ugly hand of socialism is descending rapidly upon a largely unsuspecting nation -- our new administration along with several key members of Congress are working at warp speed to ensure that it happens --health care reform is the guise that establishes the framework of control for the lives of every citizen that will have health care -- the carbon cap and trade legislation is the next piece in the puzzle -- be afraid, be very afraid! -- as for my friend George Mateo's remark regarding the republicans, unfortunately the veil of secrecy and arrogance seems to run deeper in the democratic party at this time -- although it is certainly not exclusive to one party -- since I am an Independent voter I have no party affiliations -- I see the very bad and evil in all of the politicos including the few Independents currently in Congress -- we must vote then all out in the next two elections, regardless of party, and elect our representatives from those that will serve us so that we may overturn all of these insidious laws being enacted in secrecy, in the dark of night -- the Constitution is being blatantly violated by our Congress and the president almost daily! -- interesting and provocative blog Karla -- thanks for making sure we are all awake and aware -- peace and love my dear friend -- Jon Michael

Karla, I hate the over-used word, "Outraged" but I am so outraged by these bastards that I find I cannot find the words to properly display the complete hatred I have for those bastards that are selling out and stealing our wonderful country.

We're heading into what will be known as the post-democratic era. Someone once asked me, why do they do this? Simple, I said. Because they CAN. That tells the whole story. They basically have set up a system, which will be global, bureacratic and un-elected/ un-accountable in nature. The politicians have gone along with this new agenda because they feel they will be players in the new order with even more power and no worries about having to face the voters, as they will be appointed, not elected, by other bureacrats and technocrats. They have the high-tech, police-state surveillance grid in place to track and control all of us. The whole purpose of DHS is to set up a domestic force to deal with unruly Americans as they steal everything that's left and pull the rug out from under us. It will be hell on earth. 1984 and Brave New World describe this reality perfectly. Were Orwell and Huxley somehow very lucky and perceptive to have penned such an accurate thesis of life in the future? No way. They were both members of the Fabian Society. They knew what the power elite were discussing and planning for our futures 50 years ago. Google "Fabian Socialism" and you will see what this is all about. Oligarchical collectivism using the levers of big government. Take care Karla.

"They" say, if something troubles you, speak of it! The more we write the more our energies get out there...America is speaking out all over...believe me, she won't go down without a fight! I, for one, will do my best to pull myself out, up, and over this disdainful predicament...Our children must hear it from us, "THEY" will be the next "They's"...but, it's up to us to make sure their voices are OURS! The American People!
