Randall, you always have thought provoking topics... I love the newspaper feel...when I want to read it... but progress is always part of our life! How often have said in the past..."this will never work or last!"...only to be the one in line to get that color TV or that HD TV or to get the latest cellphone...or the latest whatever... computer! etc...

Changes in modern technology are both good and bad, and the more gadgets we have the more power is needed to use it -so the increase in power consumption.
I still buy newspapers because I can read them anytime, even when there's no power.
Books are convenient and can be read anywhere, a computer needs to have a reliable source of power to work on. In our time, we did not have Nintendo, Play Station, Counter Strike, etc. We
played with mud, climbed trees, walked on fences, danced in the rain - things the young never appreciate today. We never had cellphones but we had great
communication skills with our friends.
And we were not overweight!
Our malls in the Philippines are so big it will take you weeks to shop through them, and they are so many. Our country
they say is below poverty line but all our people own cellphones (99.8%) and
our people are addicted to shopping and bargain sales. Change to e-marketing?
