Too too young - 50! My age - I loved Michael, too, especially from his childhood days through the Thriller era - he was a fantastic entertainer. So was Farrah, so was Ed McMahon - thank you for this, beautifully penned. :(

Thank you Randall for this Goodbye! I loved Michael Jackson all his life! I did not believe the stories, even when they were so hard against him... I just loved him period! I am old enough to almost be his mom...a young mom, but I was proud of his accomplishments for the WORLD...he was not a COLOR to me..he was white and he was black, and he was BRIGHT with love and doing things for others.. He lived in a bubble, and I just refuse to believe anything negative about him...He loved his children, and his family, and his fans! That was evident.. no matter who one is... I have cried for hours...and that is so silly for a stranger, but he was like a friend... I had all his music, and I played it even for my grandchildren and they'd laugh...they'd say I was a cool granny...I loved Elvis and I loved Michael and he brought so much to so many...and I hope that he receives the credit for things he did that he did not receive during his life! It was so sad watching him be transferred from the helicopter to a plain white coroners van...going to the morgue for an autopsy... he died at 2:26 pm...(I had just looked at the clock at work, and thought...that's my birthday..and for some reason I always notice when it's 2:26)... I just plan on praying for him..and I've asked God to welcome him with open loving arms...and... the same for Farrah...she suffered so much in these last years...and she deserves this peace... It is certainly a sad time today... and I feel as if I lost a family loved one.. silly as that sounds! hugs, lindalaw |
