Ohhhh, and didn't the right-wing moderators have a hay-day of misquoted scare-tactics on this one.
Obama actually said:
"Given the increasing diversity of America's population, the dangers of sectarianism have never been greater. Whatever we once were, we are no longer JUST [my emphasis] a Christian nation; we are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers."
Even a few normally wise people used the mis-quote here on A.D., until confronted. What makes them so fearful of our President's elequant words and good deeds?
Maybe proof that many were certainly brain-washed with all the untruths and rot over the previous 8 years.
