I was just sitting here yesterday thinking the very same stuff. I do however live in a rural community and we do have to have a vehicle but still if it came down to car or house, the car would go without question. One can pick up a used car and some in moderate to good condition for not much at all, and be back on the road, but the house? Well, I'd lots rather be inside my home than inside a truck.
I ripped up all my credit cards years ago, and placed them very peacefully in their plastic coffin and let them (me) rest in peace. And I've never missed them.
In the world as it is today, we must make decisions that may not be what we want, but it is what we have to do.
Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one leaning towards these thought patterns.
I don't worry too much anymore. When something comes up, (and it always does) I just rare back and deal with it. What else is a person to do?
