There is too much waste of human life. I think about the struggle of birth after nine months, the years of raising a child. A parents years of correcting, molding a child into a teenager then an adult. The nights spent with a sick child to make it well again. With all this in my mind from my own experience as a parent, I can't understand murder, war, violence. Every time I see a movie about the Normandy Invasion and see the images of young men being machine gunned down, it makes me sick. Every human that falls is someone child, and a parents work for nothing. God help us for not understanding this. Randall, thank you for this post.
