DAN - I CONCUR WITH ALL THOSE BEFORE ME!

Although I missed the speech last night - fell asleep on the sofa, after a long day's work, I'm sure the 'pundits and talking heads' will provide several synopses today, tonight, tomorrow, nest week, next month, next year ...

Dan - I agree 100%. When something like this turns into such a distorted political stand, it shows that some people will do anything for political purposes. We need leaders, not political hacks. I was just thinking that everyone is always talking about right wing and left wing. It takes two wings working together to fly. If there's only one all we do is flop around in circles and never get off the ground. - David

I agree with your comments. I just watched the speech and it made me feel proud of our President. Parents who kept their children out of school today did them a disservice.

I think it's a damned shame, and truly an abysmal sign of our demented, hate-filled times.

I'll be watching his speech, as I did those of both Reagan and Bush Senior when they addressed America's students.

And thankfully, the students at my wife's school will be watching, as well.
