That kitty(?) looks like a Norwegian Forest Cat (Norsk Skog Katt) bigger that the regular cats, heavier and very shy of strangers. Very territorial, considering the household as their pack, will accept other pet as soon it gets the assurance of be number one, if not one will have it chasing the other pets away.

Thanks so much everyone!!! I wanted to throw a birthday party for Pride, and be crazy about it, but my hubby says he's only a cat. Oh, sometimes I think my hubby is jealous of Pride. Heeeheee!!!

I'm still trying to convince him on the birthday party. I think at least I should invite my daughter's two kitties to come for the birtday event.

Pride is absolutely adoRAble; I can imagine how happy you are to have him in your life. Pets have a way of bringing you such joy! I know I was a lot happier when I had my Ouizer, my Cajie (Cajun), and Friday; now they're gone, and I'm miserable! We can't have cats here (owner prejudiced); otherwise I'd have a whole housefull of kitties (Maine Coons, Ragdolls, or 'Wegies)! Give Pride extra (((HUGS))), pats, and many purrs from Karla and myself in Texas!

Sandie I loved this, I am a cat owner myself, and they bring me so much joy, but my pride and joy is my five year old poodle Abby, a great write as always, they truly become part of our families don't they.

Hi Linda:

I wanted to post it in the poetry board, but there's a problems with the picture uploading now...I think.

Another reason is that we are only allowed to post one photo. with the poem; but in the blog here I can put more as it is needed for this poem, so I have decided to make this a blog entry instead.

You should see Pride, he's really taking advantage of me and hubby. Five years old and still acting like he's a baby!!! Heeeheee!!!
