"Joan and Melissa Rivers vs. Annie Duke"

If you go to surfthechannel.com, you take a look at the last two episodes how Joan belittle Annie Duke for being a "Poker Player". Joan is totally out of her mind. She called Annie so many bad names, and Annie hasn't even called her any bad names so far. In Donald Trumps boardroom, Donald asked Annie a question about the projects, and Joan said, "I have no interest in what Annie has to say", and then she plug her ears with her fingers!!! She's SO rude to Annie.
I have no idea how Annie can sit through the whole show being called names and being discriminated for being a single mother and being a poker player.
What's wrong with being a poker player anyway? Annie raised so much money for charities it was truly amazing. Joan needs to re-examine her self-righteous insane behavior. I'm so glad that both mother and daughter are out of the show now. My God, they were both so tyranny toward other players, and Joan was taking advantage of herself being the oldest person there and thought that she could say anything she likes to others. In my opinion she's just a loud mouth and a bad example for her daughter Melissa. Melissa is copying her mother's attitudes and it's not good for her. I think she should move away from Joan's shadow and begin her own life afresh, so people won't think that she is just another copycat of her mother.
I have no sympathy for Joan, but I'm feeling sorry for Melissa.

Perhaps you know Joan more than I know her, but regardless of whether or not Melissa has talents, she is in need of her independence and not live under the shadow of her mother.
Someone in facebook suggested to me that this whole thing was scripted, but I totally disagree!! Joan and Melissa would be stupid to have gone along with the script and acted so stupidly and embarrassed themselves.
However they feel about themselves and others, they have let hatred guide them and spit out hatred for another.
As I have said, Annie isn't doing anything new that a person in the real working world would not have done to defend herself, knowing that all through the whole show she's been called every name under the sun and being discriminated for being a poker player. One has got to learn to swim well in order to survive in the sea of life. I have written a poem about this too; and those who swim well will win, and those don't know how to swim, lose. - It's as simple as that!!!
When defeated, one should learn the lesson and call it "an experience", and not be sore loser. Melissa is a sore loser, and mother Joan is too protective of her it isn't even funny!!
Consider it blessing that her mother is still here to protect her, she should learn to swim now, or to fly, otherwise she will have problems when mother Joan is gone.

I saw the show too, and was very disappointed in Joan because altho she has this horrible front, she has been very well known for her charities and behind the scenes help of many unknowns..guess I just have kept up with her more than most? Melissa doesn't have any particular talent, so her mother has helped get her into many doors, but what mother wouldn't? Re: Trump and his wives and children...but I love Trump (always have which is strange too..hehe) so... I got upset because I didn't want to see Joan & Melissa get so ugly about the whole thing in public..it took away from the true meaning of the show...CHARITIES...
I totally see your side Sandie, but..in all honesty...Annie and Brandy were conspiring (which is the name of the game,) and they did it in such a way that they came out smelling like a rose.. To me...the only reason Annie and Brandy are still on is because they are able to raise alot of money for charity ... which is the premise of the show....MONEY... and CHARITY... but also the bottom line for them is exposure!!! I was sad and embarrassed for Joan & Melissa...but...I can't say I wouldn't have been upset and angry too at how the girls manipulated the game against Melissa.... but...she's a big girl and should be able to stand up for herself! You know...they all accomplished what they wanted...RATINGS...AND EXPOSURE! hehe... hugs, lindalaw

I lost seeing Joan rivers about 179 years ago when she was a fresh grandmother, and another face lift and she will sport a mustache!
