Hi Micki:

When I first began writing my inspiration always would come to me whenever I was supposed to be sleeping. Like you, I would think about all the things I can write as they paraded in my head, then I just couldn't wait 'til the morning to arrive, I had to jump out of bed to write. Heeeeheeee!!! I consider this as "A Writer's Insomnia".

Hi George:

I have good dreams and bad dreams. The fact that I can remember good dreams for they make me happy; and whenever I dream in 3rd person as if I was watching a movie I consider it's a gift from God for me to write a story. That is why I can't let it go to waste.

I don't know if I have good dreams, but I know that I have had nightmares despite the places I have visited and the people going by in my life.
But good dreams are good, they carry with them the wish to go on repeating.

You are so lucky--I too have wonderful dreams that would make good books but I forget them so fast after I wake up that I don't even have time to write them down. The only exception is when I nap and the "muse" keeps nudging me and annoying me with story ideas until I finally grumpily get up and write them down.

Thank you Carolyn!!! I know what you mean by dreaming in color. My dreams are ALWAYS in color, I have never dreamed in black and white. Does anyone else dream in color, or is it just me????...I have been wondering about this too myself.

Hi Sandie, You have very vivid dreams, and sounds like you dream in color like I do. My dreams are usually like a parable that gives an answer to a dilemma I'm facing or seeking a solution to something. Keep writing, Sandie! It's a creative mind that dreams...or a dreaming mind that creates? well... either way... :)
