All of the people I quoted have, at some time, been called "Perma-Bears" except for Paul Volcker. They've been saying this since the tech bubble back in the 90s, but they had to advise investors how to make money off of the bubbles in order to keep their jobs.

It's been a difficult 15 years or so for a lot of them, and it'd look really ad if they crowed that they were right after all - especially since nearly any of us can be right once in 15 years.

So where have these guys been the last few years? Were they warning us what was going to happen or do they just complain now?
