There are some very stupid people in charge of things these days, for sure. But you're right, it's the arrogance that's the real issue. It seems like a bad idea to have the kids from the short bus run things, but at least they tend to be happy and nice.

I don't think we have to be at an "endtime" if we can ditch our arrogance and understand our limits. Sadly, the USofA has always been a place of boundless frontiers and limitless possibility. What happens when we run low on all that? Apparently, grabbing hold of what we've got and pretending we "earned it" is the best we got. Yeah, that's the recipe for endtimes. But it doesn't have to be that way.

I like the image of the night train hurtling down the tracks - a lot. There's a lot of faith in technology, communication, and everything else that makes it possible to deny your way to a pleasant ride. We got all that. Oh yeah.

It's true--There IS just too much to know these days. It's very taxing. But we must do the best we can. As you say, no one is alone. We're all on the night train hurtling down the tracks toward somewhere.

Do we ever live in an unrealistic and messed up society. The worst is not here yet and there is more to come. Don't think the next president will be able to do too much either. Too much against him in the Senate and Congress. Oh well, we'll see but end times are supposed to be bad and they are getting to be unlivable too here on earth.
