Altho I truly see and agree with all the crap that went with this presidency....I am however; one of the few who is outraged at the shoe incident anyway!!! He is our President...thankfully, just a few more weeks...however...He should be safe...We pay k-jillions in Secret Service, protectors, etc for our Gov't representatives....and... I am angry that he was in the line of danger...and even Dana Perino was injured (yet overlooked in the fiasco..she has a black eye)!!! I don't like what happened in our country, this war, the losses of beautiful human beings who were protecting US, but...what if this were our new President? What if this were the First Lady? What if this were anyone??? Sure, he handled the shoe incident like he has handled much...with a silly, goofy grin...that look of "what happened?"..but it's sort of like.... My kids are stupid sometimes...act like dummies...and I can scream and holler and say what I want...but I'll be damned if anyone else better touch or hurt them!" Guess that's my view.. Ok for laughs...but I don't think the Secret Service did their job....that is the embarrassment...and cheez...at least Bush did duck fast... so... guess the ole' boy isn't so slow on his feet after all... lindalaw |
