I'm truly sorry for your loss. Those little guys are not pets they are family, and they become very important to our lives and well being.
About 6 weeks ago we had to have our beloved Patches put to sleep for he was beginning to suffer terribly from cancer. We done our best to tell ourselves that he would be fine but as time went on, we could no longer turn our eyes away. And the last thing we wanted was to see him hurt. He adopted us 14 years ago from the moment we met him and he was only 5 weeks old. We looked in those beautiful brown eyes and knew we couldn't tell him no. He was half chihuahua and half rat terrier, and he was the apple of our lives for 14 years and we miss him too.
