I appreciate your perspective on this financial situation many find themselves in today. Of course Obama is doing all the wrong things. He has to placate those with all the power in order to avoid a public linching, I think. And everyone else??? well, it's just too bad. The rich say we brought it on ourselves because we are greedy. President Obama missed a great opportunity when he gave those humongous packages of money to the banks (the same that lost the money through greed and no restrictions)
If the president had purchased all the compromised mortgages, the bank would have got the money and the people would have not lost their homes.
I don't know if the decision was made by his advisors or if the President thought it by himself, I would accepted that lame and stupid decision from Bush Jr. but not from an intelligent man like Obama.
In my books he has came down a lot of notches, telling me that he his a politician trying to please the money not help the people.
