Book signings in bookstores are a fucking bitch to get if you are print on demand. I know -- working with lulu.com is hard to get noticed. I got published on a few magazines and got carried on a newsstand with a story published by a magazine on the west coast. I got my first novel published with PublishAmerica and it is a bitch to get people even to buy it. They are too scared of ultra-violent and transgressive horror.
