That is just so unfair, Eva, and, it makes no sense. I can't think of one logical reason for it. If their authors are successful like you are, wouldn't they be shouting it, not silencing it. You are so right. They can't take your awards away from you. With your talent and skills the awards will, definitely, keep on coming!

I love reading your blog to see how well you are doing. I have an Amazon writer page, but I don't do much in Amazon. I've heard too many bad things about it. Your explanation about the reviews is now added to my list of bads. It reminds me of my grocery store that gives "gas points" which you can use for discounts on gasoline, but if you don't use them by a certain time, you lose them! Just when you need them! Sounds like Amazon has a "time limit" to reach that 50 count. Snicky, snicky! I'll stick with my local platform building, I may not sell many books, but at least I have control and I'm building a reputation.

Read today's blog with great interest, Eva, as I didn't realize that reviews can disappear like that. You didn't really explain why. I too have several 1 star diatribes from former disgruntled teachers that worked under my supervision when I was their director. Although I complained, and although the reviews themselves are obviously degrading and inappropriate, they were never taken down. Who's to question how, why? John |
