I know what you mean. We are getting our kitchen remodeled and new flooring put in (since the beginning of April). It began on the cusp of my book launch and continues as I strive to write another book. Yes, there are things more important, but the daily grind and its maintenance is such a distraction!

I deeply sympathize! I had a writing goal line get moved twice this week due to house and family issues. Things that take time and brain space. I admire your ability to soldier through and get the job done. I had to postpone writing assignments till today, and I've got one yet to go. Funny thing, the details of distractions tend to be great when written in story-land:) Many blessings.

Ah-ha!"May minor inconveniences and unwelcome distractions have little to no impact on your creative endeavors.... Unless people from the third floor can see into the bathroom through the hole in your ceiling. Concentrating becomes a bit more difficult at that/those time/s. |
